Treatment of detainees at Oakhampton Reception Centre: special investigation report

Published:

This investigation was commissioned by Des Browne, then Minister for Citizenship and Immigration, in response to the BBC documentary Detention Undercover: The Real Story, that aired on 2 March 2005.

The programme contained allegations of racism and mistreatment of detainees reported by two undercover researchers employed by the contractor, GSL, at Oakington Reception Centre and while being escorted.
